How a COD parcel flows

From order to payout in four steps

Book

Enter parcel details through the dashboard, API, or your store plugin. Print the label and we assign a tracking number.

Pickup

A ShipBee rider arrives at your address, scans the label and takes the parcel to the nearest hub for sorting.

Deliver

The parcel reaches the customer. Our rider collects the COD amount in cash and marks the delivery confirmed via the app.

Payout

Collected cash is deposited to your bank account within 48 hours. A per-parcel statement is available on your dashboard.

Before you ship

When do I receive COD money?

COD collections are settled within 48 hours of successful delivery. Payments are deposited directly to your registered bank account and a per-parcel statement is available on your merchant dashboard.

What happens if the customer refuses?

If a customer refuses the parcel, we return it to your address at no extra charge. The parcel is marked as "Returned" on the tracking page and the COD amount is not charged to either party.

Can I hold a parcel before delivery?

Yes. Use the Detain speed option to hold a parcel at the destination hub for up to 7 days. This is useful when a customer wants to reschedule or is temporarily unavailable. The parcel is released for delivery once you give the go-ahead.
